Spread 4 slices of bread with Marie’s Glaze for Strawberries. Layer sliced strawberries over glaze. Spread remaining bread slices with whipped cream cheese. Make a sandwich with the strawberry layer, pressing together lightly.
Whisk eggs and milk with a fork in a shallow pan. Cook French Toast in two batches.* Melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat in 10-inch skillet watching carefully so it doesn’t burn. Dip two of the sandwiches in egg mixture; flipping over to coat both sides and edges. Saute in skillet until golden brown on one side. Flip gently and cook on other side until golden brown. Place on paper towels to drain. Wipe out skillet, melt remaining butter and repeat with two remaining sandwiches. Drizzle with maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
* If you have a larger skillet, griddle or electric skillet, all four servings can be cooked at once.
