8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 cup Marie’s® Strawberry Glaze, divided
8 spongecake dessert cups (for strawberry shortcake), about 1 oz each
1 lb fresh fruit (strawberries)
Cut cream cheese into chunks. Place in blender with sugar, sour cream, milk and 1/2 cup Marie’s Strawberry Glaze. Cover and blend until smooth.
Reserve 8 strawberries. Slice remaining strawberries and toss with 1/2 cup Marie’s Strawberry Glaze.
Pull each cake into chunks and place in dessert glass (or wine glass). Pour about 1/4 cup cream cheese mixture over cake in each glass. Top with sliced berries in glaze. Garnish with whipped cream and whole berries. Serve immediately.
Dessert can be made up to 6 hours ahead. Garnish with the whipped cream and whole berries just before serving.
