Candy Cane Caprese
The bold zing of Marie’s Balsamic Vinaigrette brings the flavors Caprese salad together in this creative holiday appetizer.

Ingredients
16 oz fresh mozzarella
3 large fresh tomatoes
1 tsp sea salt
Fresh basil leaves, for garnishing
Marie’s Balsamic Vinaigrette, for serving
Toasted baguette, for serving
Directions
Slice mozzarella and tomatoes into ¼ inch thick slices. Sprinkle salt on top of tomatoes.
Starting at the top end of the candy cane shape, alternate between a slice of mozzarella and tomato. Repeat until you form a large candy cane shape.
Garnish the board with fresh basil.
When ready to serve, drizzle with Marie’s Balsamic Vinaigrette and toasted baguettes.
